Fluid Paint

Fluid Paint is a general purpose bitmap graphics and animation program. It was inspired by a paint program called SuperPaint, released by Aldus in the early 1990s. SuperPaint was fast, easy to use, intuitive, and powerful. No paint program has since suited my needs as well as it did. Fluid Paint is my attempt to recreate the magic of SuperPaint in a more modern package, as well as to provide a valuable tool for graphic artists on Mac OS X.

Some of the key features of Fluid Paint:

• Full alpha channel support; easy and intuitive alpha channel editing
• Animation capabilities
• Multiple image layers
• Plug-in support for tools and image filters
• Multiple clipboards
• Import and export a wide variety of file formats
• Tile painting and symmetry painting
